House Removals and Man with Van in Glenfield

Glenfield collections: identify the actual entrance

Glenfield Parish Council is based at Park House on Stamford Street. For moves around this part of Glenfield or elsewhere in the village, provide the property’s own address and entrance photographs. A familiar landmark helps explain the location but does not replace the collection postcode or a permitted loading point.

Coordinate a house move with key handover

If completion or key collection is still uncertain, tell us when enquiring. Separate the earliest collection time from the time you expect access to the new property. Keep your agent or receiving contact available, and update us if the schedule changes so we can discuss the effect on the agreed move.

Plan furniture before packing the smaller items

List large wardrobes, sofas and appliances with dimensions and photographs. Then estimate the number of boxes and note any garden or garage items that also need transport. For a Glenfield delivery, explain whether the vehicle approaches the front door, a side entrance or another agreed loading position. Include the carrying distance and any steps at both ends. This helps us assess handling and the appropriate team without assuming every home has the same access.
