Bought or sold a sofa, appliance or another large item? We can discuss collecting and delivering a single item, with suitable lifting help and transport agreed before the job.

For a fridge freezer, measure the appliance and doorways and tell us about steps, narrow turns and the distance to the van. We will agree the handling plan and preparation before booking; some items or access routes may need a different arrangement.

Single-item collection checklist
Before arranging a collection, check the item and the route from its current room to the delivery room. A photo of a sofa or appliance alone does not show the stairs, doors or parking. Send the access details at both ends so the lifting and transport can be assessed together.
- Send clear photos and the item height, width and depth.
- Give the weight if known and identify fragile or awkward parts.
- Describe stairs, lifts, narrow doors and tight turns at both addresses.
- Confirm the collection contact and the seller’s agreed time window.
- Explain where the item should be placed at delivery and who will receive it.
