Build a clear list of your belongings
Count your boxes, suitcases and bags, then list any furniture, bike or larger equipment. Photos help us judge the load and discuss a suitable vehicle. If you are sharing a move with someone else, include both inventories and every collection or delivery stop.
Confirm how much lifting help you need. Tell us about stairs, lift access and the distance between the vehicle and your room before booking.
Check your accommodation arrangements
- Confirm your key collection or checkout time with your accommodation provider.
- Ask where a van can load and whether a parking space or unloading slot must be booked.
- Check lift availability and any restrictions on moving through the building.
- Have a contact number ready for the person meeting us at each address.
Busy changeover dates can limit availability, so contact us once you know your dates. If you need a short-notice move, ask and we will check the available vehicles and team.
Pack for easy loading and unloading
Use manageable boxes rather than one very heavy box. Seal them securely and label them with your name and destination room. Protect fragile items, empty open containers and keep valuables, medication, keys and important documents with you.
If belongings are going to a storage facility, arrange the storage booking and access yourself, then share its address, opening times and loading instructions with us.

Can you move a few boxes and bags?
Yes. Send your list and both postcodes for a quote. Our man and van service is suitable for many smaller moves.
Can you move furniture too?
Include its dimensions and photos. Tell us if it needs dismantling or is particularly heavy so we can agree the right arrangements.
Can you take my belongings to another city?
Yes, we offer local and nationwide transport. Include the full journey and any required arrival window in your enquiry.
