Tell us what needs moving
Send a list of desks, chairs, cabinets, boxed files and equipment, with photos of larger items. Let us know which pieces need dismantling and which must remain assembled. We will discuss the vehicle, lifting help and any additional work before confirming your booking.
Identify sensitive, fragile or unusually heavy equipment in advance. Keep confidential records secure, and arrange for your own IT support to disconnect, back up and reconnect computers and networks as needed.
Access arrangements matter
- Check loading-bay access and any vehicle or parking restrictions at both buildings.
- Tell us the floor levels and whether a goods lift is available.
- Arrange lift bookings, building access and security passes where required.
- Share delivery time windows and the contact person at each location.
For larger premises, a room-by-room inventory and labelled destination plan help keep unloading organised. Make clear which items are staying and which belong in the new office.
Prepare for a smoother handover
Pack loose stationery and small equipment into secure boxes. Label each box with its destination room or workstation. Empty cabinets where necessary for safe handling, protect monitor screens and keep cables with the equipment they belong to.
Agree the packing and dismantling responsibilities beforehand. If your business needs a particular moving day or time, mention this at the quote stage so we can check availability and plan the work.

Can you move only a few desks or chairs?
Yes. Smaller furniture moves may suit our man and van service. Send your inventory and both postcodes.
Can you move a business outside Leicester?
We cover Rugby, Nuneaton, Coventry, Birmingham, Northampton and Warwickshire as well as Leicester, with transport to nationwide destinations.
Can dismantling be included?
Tell us what needs taking apart and reassembling. Any additional work must be discussed and agreed before moving day.
