Our Man and Van service covers the same range of moving jobs as our House Removals service: single items, full house and flat moves, office moves, collections and deliveries. We serve Leicester, Rugby, Coventry, Northampton and Warwickshire, with local and nationwide transport. The vehicle and moving team are matched to the complete job, with carrying, loading, transport and unloading agreed together. Choose a driver who helps with loading, a driver plus one porter, or a driver plus two porters. For self-load, we supply the van and driver while you arrange loading and unloading, which can help keep your overall moving cost down.
Man and van across our service areas
Our moving team carries furniture, boxes and business items between homes, workplaces, shops and storage. Full and part moves, collections and deliveries are available in Leicester, Rugby, Coventry, Northampton and Warwickshire, with local and nationwide transport.
We can discuss local journeys, moves between these areas and deliveries farther afield. We plan suitable handling for bulky items, stairs, narrow doors and limited access at either address. Your quote is based on the load, route, access and help required.
Moving Help for the Whole Journey
The service brings the road journey and the carrying work at each address together. Shared entrances, stairs, parking and collection windows are considered when arranging the vehicle and team, helping a purchase, home move or business delivery reach its destination.
What our man and van service covers
From a single marketplace purchase or student room to a full home or office move, the service is planned around your belongings and the access at each property. We agree the collection, lifting, loading, transport and unloading in your quote.
- Full or part house and flat removals, including moves into storage.
- Collecting a sofa, bed, wardrobe or other bulky purchase.
- Student belongings, room moves and complete flat moves.
- Office moves and business furniture or equipment deliveries, with handling agreed beforehand.
A driver-only booking suits customers arranging their own loading and unloading. Bookings with moving help provide the carrying assistance agreed for the load and access, with a team of up to three movers subject to availability.
Furniture collections and deliveries
Sofas, beds, wardrobes and other agreed bulky purchases can be collected from shops, private sellers or another property. Collection, transport and delivery are coordinated with the people handing over and receiving the item.
Careful carrying and suitable moving equipment help with heavy or fragile furniture. Access and the way an item is assembled affect handling; dismantling and reassembly are available when included in the agreed work.
Before Moving Day
- Confirm the final load and any changes to the agreed collection or delivery arrangements.
- Pack smaller belongings securely and label boxes.
- Arrange access and parking at both addresses.
- Keep your phone available for collection and delivery updates.
Questions before booking
Can you help when there are stairs and no lift?
Yes, we can discuss moves involving stairs and no lift. We plan around the floor level, number of flights and any tight turns, with suitable handling for larger items. We will agree the team and lifting arrangements before confirming your quote.
Which van size do I need?
We select a long-wheelbase, high-roof van or a Luton box van with a tail lift to suit your load and access. The term Man and Van does not restrict you to a small vehicle or a small job. We can recommend the vehicle and a team of up to three movers, subject to availability.

These are manufacturer examples; model year, drive type, lining and Luton body builder affect usable space. We confirm the allocated van and item fit for your booking.
How do I book?
Bookings start with a quote by phone, WhatsApp or the online form. The quote covers the journey, load, access and agreed moving help, with the vehicle, team and availability confirmed for the booking.
Can you collect just one item?
Yes. We collect and deliver individual furniture purchases and other agreed items, with suitable carrying and transport arranged for the job.
Can I book for the weekend or at short notice?
We operate seven days a week. Contact us to check an available vehicle and team for your date; short-notice availability varies.
Can Man and Van handle a full house move?
