Build a clear list of your belongings
Grouping boxes, suitcases, bags and larger items helps keep a student move organised. For a shared journey, labelling each person’s belongings and destination helps avoid confusion when unloading.
The vehicle and carrying help are arranged for the agreed load. We plan the move around access to your room, whether it is in halls, a shared house or another property.
Check your accommodation arrangements
- Confirm your key collection or checkout time with your accommodation provider.
- Ask where a van can load and whether a parking space or unloading slot must be booked.
- Check lift availability and any restrictions on moving through the building.
- Have a contact number ready for the person meeting us at each address.
Busy changeover dates can limit availability, so contact us once you know your dates. If you need a short-notice move, ask and we will check the available vehicles and team.
Pack for easy loading and unloading
Use manageable boxes rather than one very heavy box. Seal them securely and label them with your name and destination room. Protect fragile items, empty open containers and keep valuables, medication, keys and important documents with you.
If belongings are going into storage, the storage booking and access remain your responsibility. A confirmed storage slot helps us coordinate the transport and unloading.
